  • Spiral Magic
I love the way sterling silver wire stretches and curves while working with it. Here I have wound heavy guage wire into a Roman knot ring with a double shank. • Lagoon
Workers in little villages in the Czech Republic make all the wonderful molded glass designs for Jablonek. I especially love the technique used to make these beads, called "Picasso." The glass is formed, then coated with a different color glass, then cut to reveal the original color below. The clasp and spacers are solid copper. There's one Tiger Ebony wood twist bead in this. I have to make up more of these for Out of Our Hands Gallery, but in the meantime if you want one just ask me.
  • Sunny Day
This is a pendant from a fellow artist on Etsy, Lawanda, who makes lampwork glass. This glass is melted with a torch to create a bead, then fired in a kiln at high temperatures. A handmade lampwork bead will not break when cheap glass beads do. I strung the pendant on a necklace with carnelian and sand colored seed beads. Findings are sterling silver. This one is at my studio right now, waiting for autumn :@D. It's $95, just contact me to buy it.

  • Choshen
A choshen is a replica of the breastplate the Cohen, or High Priest, wore in the Ancient Temple. It contained a stone for each of the 12 original tribes of Israel. This is Swarovski crystal cubes and sterling silver strung on a 20 inch snake chain. This was sold for $36 in my Etsy shop. Contact me to order one.
